Make Your Own Mickey-Inspired Topiary

Supplies:


  • 2 same-sized Styrofoam balls (for the ears)

  • 1 slightly larger Styrofoam ball (for the head)

  • Fake greenery or florals of your choice (fake moss or hydrangeas work well)

  • 4 Skewers

  • 1 plant pot (this will serve as the base of your topiary as the head will rest on top)

  • 1 floral foam block

  • Hot glue gun and glue gun sticks


Instructions:


  1. Pierce one skewer into each small foam ball. Position them on the larger foam ball and attach. Use hot glue to make them extra secure.


  1. Place floral foam block into the plant pot.


  1. If using flowers, remove all the flowers from the stems. Discard stems. Begin hot gluing the flowers and/or other choice of greenery to the surface Styrofoam.


  1. Once you have completely covered the surface with greenery, use two skewers to attach the base of the topiary onto the foam block. Press gently until the topiary rests on the top of the plant pot. Use hot glue to secure.


  1. Display your topiary year-round! Every living space needs a touch of magic.
